Lingbao City Leadership Visits Henan Wanguan Industrial Co., Ltd. to Inspect Economic Census Progress

Lingbao, Henan Province – On the morning of March 17, 2024, Mr. Song Sukuai, Deputy Secretary of the Lingbao Municipal Committee and Mayor, along with Mr. Wang Wei, Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone, visited Henan Wanguan Industrial Co., Ltd. to review the progress of the Fifth National Economic Census (Fifth Census). Accompanied by leaders from the Lingbao Bureau of Statistics, Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and Yuling Town Government, the delegation was received by Ms. Ma Ailing, Deputy General Manager of the company.

Mayor Song first inspected the financial department to observe data entry for the unified reporting system under the Fifth Census, gaining insights into workflow processes. He engaged with the company’s statistical staff, encouraging them to ensure meticulousness, accuracy, and compliance with data collection standards. He stressed the importance of mastering key metrics, verifying sources, and upholding data integrity to "capture details, ensure precision, and validate authenticity."

Subsequently, during a meeting, Deputy General Manager Ma Ailing and Mr. Wang Xinzheng, Director of the Sales Department, briefed Mayor Song on the company’s production and operational performance for Q1 2024. Mayor Song highlighted that the Fifth Census, as the first major national survey following the 20th CPC National Congress, holds critical significance for Lingbao’s economic and social development. He urged all market entities to provide truthful data to reflect economic realities accurately, supporting government decision-making with reliable statistics.

"Data quality must remain the top priority," Mayor Song emphasized. He called on statistical authorities to guide enterprises in standardized reporting, ensuring comprehensive and accurate data collection. He reiterated the need for a "detailed, precise, and practical" approach to achieve high-quality census outcomes.
